For diploma course graduation in any field and for short-term courses the minimum qualification is either be class 10 or a 10 + 2.

Designers can work in jewellery showrooms or work as Jewellery designer or artist, goldsmith, fashion jeweler, repair person, lapidary, manufacturer. Earning in this field has no barrier. Earnings of a jewellery designer can differ and depending on the education and experience. For as a fresherone can get around Rs 30, 000 to Rs 60, 000 per month. With experience it can increase from Rs 45,000 to Rs 90,000 or more. Top-rated designers can easily find salaries about Rs 1, 00, 000 to Rs 1, 50, 000 even more per month.
