NEST 2016
NEST 2016 will be conducted in about 52 cities all over India on May 28, 2016 (Saturday). The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for admission to the Five Year Integrated M. Sc. Courses in basic sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics) at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai, Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE), Mumbai. All students admitted to NISER and UM-DAE CBS are eligible for INSPIRE scholarship of Rs. 60,000 per year and additionally upto Rs. 20,000 per year for summer /winter internship.

Starting Date to Apply Online: 04/01/2016.
Last date for apply: 04/03/2016.
Exam Date; 28/05/2016 (Saturday) between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Examination Fee: Rs 700/ only to Male candidate of General and OBC, Rs. 350/ only to SC/ST/Female/PWD candidates.
Mode of Payment: Payment will be either Online or through a Demand Draft (DD)in the favor of NEST payable at Bhubaneswar.
