Eligibility Criteria for PhD (Science), Direct PhD (Science) and Sponsored PhD (Science)
PhD (Sciences): Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology, Medicine or Master’s degree
Direct PhD (Sciences): Undergraduate degree in Science or allied subjects with at least 8.5/85% and/or 1st rank holder in University/ Institution
Sponsored PhD (Sciences): Master’s degree in Science

Candidates with a Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy with a good academic record or with a Master’s degree in Sciences with a good academic record and with a valid GATE score or UGC/ CSIR-NET/ NBHM or valid CSIR-JRF/ SRF or equivalent fellowship
Direct PhD (Engineering): B.E. / B.Tech with CGPA 8.5 / 85% Marks + valid GATE / NET (Engineering) (Below Rank 2000)
Sponsored PhD (Engineering): M.Tech (or equivalent) degree in Engineering

- For General and OBC Candidates Rs 1500/ only (For One Paper), Rs 2100/ only (For Two Papers)
- For Female/SC/ST/PWD candidates Rs 750/ only (For One Paper), Rs 1050/ only (For Two Papers)
